The Apostles’ Creed
This Autumn at MCC our main teaching series has been on the Apostles’ Creed. The Apostles’ Creed is a short statement of faith that has been used for thousands of years by Christians around the world to express the foundationalbeliefs of Christianity. The Creed is based on truths drawn directly from the New Testament, written by Jesus’ apostles, hence the name. It summarises our faith in God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and invites us to commit wholeheartedly to these beliefs and find our place in God’s big story. Many churches say the Creed each week to affirm their shared faith and help pass on a biblical framework the to the next generation.
